Structure 353, northeast Florida

Robinson is created by Structure 353 Dam on the Canal 331 River in Citrus County, Florida and is used for flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1962. At normal levels it has a surface area of 8.6 square miles. It is owned by Southwest Florida Water Management District.

 

Structure 353, also known as Robinson is concrete. Its height is 17.5 feet with a length of 61 feet. Maximum discharge is 725 cubic feet per second.
