Structure 62, northeast Florida

Structure 62 Dam is on the C-29A (Ajay-Hart Canal) River in Orange County, Florida and is used for flood control and irrigation purposes. Construction was completed in 1969. It is owned by Sfwmd (Past C&Sf Flood Control District).

 

Structure 62 is of earthen construction. Its length is 190 feet. Maximum discharge is 640 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 56000 acre feet. Normal storage is 20000 acre feet.
