Structure 63, northeast Florida

Structure 63 Dam is on Canoe Creek (C-34) in Osceola County, Florida and is used for flood control and irrigation purposes. Construction was completed in 1966. It is owned by Sfwmd (Past C&Sf Flood Control District).

 

Structure 63 is of earthen construction. Its length is 114 feet. Maximum discharge is 715 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 37000 acre feet. Normal storage is 17000 acre feet.
