Structure 63a, northeast Florida

Structure 63A Dam is on Canoe Creek (C-34) in Osceola County, Florida and is used for flood control and irrigation purposes. Construction was completed in 1966. It is owned by Sfwmd (Past C&Sf Flood Control District).

 

Structure 63a is of earthen construction. Its length is 274 feet. Maximum discharge is 2000 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 480 acre feet. Normal storage is 315 acre feet.
