Structure 82, east Florida

Structure 82 Dam is on the C-41 (Harney Pond Canal) River in Highlands County, Florida and is used for flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1962. It is owned by Sfwmd (Past C&Sf Flood Control District).

 

Structure 82 is of earthen construction. Its length is 130 feet. Maximum discharge is 2100 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 1370 acre feet. Normal storage is 685 acre feet.
