Structure 99, east Florida

Structure 99 Dam is on the Belcher Canal (C-25) River in St. Lucie County, Florida and is used for flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1961. It is owned by Sfwmd (Past C&Sf Flood Control District).

 

Structure 99 is of earthen construction. Its length is 148 feet. Maximum discharge is 3860 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 2210 acre feet. Normal storage is 1650 acre feet.
