Structure No. 29, southeast Florida

Structure No. 29 Dam is on Snake Creek Canal (C-9) in Dade County, Florida and is used for flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1953. It is owned by Sfwmd (Past C&Sf Flood Control District).

 

Its length is 168 feet. Maximum discharge is 4680 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 3410 acre feet. Normal storage is 3362 acre feet.
