Tombigbee Lake, east Texas

Tombigbee Lake is on the Tombigbee Branch River in Polk County, Texas and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1971. It is owned by Texas Commission For Indian Affairs.

 

Tombigbee Lake Dam is of earthen construction. The foundation is unlisted or unknown. Its height is 33 feet with a length of 1450 feet. Its capacity is 300 acre feet. Normal storage is 230 acre feet. It drains an area of 0.97 square miles.
