Ball Mountain Lake

Winhall Brook Campground (seasonal 3rd weekend in May to Columbus Day weekend) offers streamside campsites; modern restrooms with hot showers; trailer dump station and resident campground attendants. The river and 75-acre lake offer fishing, and reservoir lands are open for hunting.

Driving Directions

From Brattleboro, north on VT 30 to Jamaica to dam. The campground is 5 miles north of the dam, off VT 100.

The things to do at Ball Mountain Lake are bike riding, fishing, hiking, hunting, winter sports and wildlife viewing. Visitors taking a west New Hampshire vacation can find camping spots here. There's a picnic area.
