Wellington Upground Reservoir, northcentral Ohio

Wellington Upground Reservoir is fed offstream by Charlemont Creek in Lorain County, Ohio and is used for drinking water and recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1972. At normal levels it has a surface area of 163 acres. It is owned by Village Of Wellington.

 

Wellington Upground Reservoir is of earthen construction. Its height is 35 feet with a length of 11391 feet. Its capacity is 4632 acre feet. Normal storage is 3970 acre feet. It drains an area of 0.26 square miles.
