White Oak Mt. Dam, Virginia

White Oak Mt. Dam is on a tributary of Sweden Fork River in Pittsylvania County, Virginia and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1969. It is owned by Va Department Of Game and Inland Fisheries.

 

White Oak Mt. Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 23 feet Its capacity is 82 acre feet. Normal storage is 48 acre feet.
