Whitney Lake, southcentral Connecticut

Whitney Lake is on the Mill River in New Haven County, Connecticut and is used for drinking water purposes. Construction was completed in 1861. At normal levels it has a surface area of 178.3 acres. It is owned by Sccrwa.
