Winfield L and D, West Virginia

Winfield L and D Dam on the Kanawha River in Putnam County, West Virginia is used for improved navigation and recreation purposes. It has been been there since 1937. It has a normal surface area of 4.8 square miles. It is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
