Wolf Run Lake, east Ohio

Wolf Run Lake is on the Wolf Run River in Noble County, Ohio and is used for flood control and recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1966. It has a normal surface area of 214 acres. It is owned by Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division Of Parks and Recreation.

 

Wolf Run Lake Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 76 feet with a length of 700 feet. Maximum discharge is 9810 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 7737 acre feet. Normal storage is 4137 acre feet. It drains an area of 5.7 square miles.
