Wolverine Lake, southeast MichiganWolverine Lake is on a tributary to Commerce Lake River in Oakland County, Michigan and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1925. At normal levels it has a surface area of 241 acres. It is owned by Village Of Wolverine Lake. Wolverine Lake Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 15 feet with a length of 800 feet. Maximum discharge is 250 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 1560 acre feet. Normal storage is 960 acre feet. It drains an area of 5.1 square miles.
