Woodhull Lake, northcentral New York
Woodhull Lake is on a tributary of Sand Lake River in Herkimer County, New York and is used for improved navigation and recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1853. It has a normal surface area of 1.8 square miles. It is owned by Nys Canal Corp.
Woodhull Lake Dam, also known as Woodhull Lake is of earthen construction. Its height is 25 feet with a length of 507 feet. Maximum discharge is 120 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 11600 acre feet. Normal storage is 8800 acre feet.
